In some implementations, the doorbell camera 106 further includes an ambient light sensor ALS assembly 714 at least partially disposed within the lens assembly 704. The ALS assembly 714 is configured to measure amount of light entering the lens assembly 702 from an ambient environment surrounding the lens assembly 704. Part of the ALS assembly 714 is exposed to incoming light, and therefore, visible from a front of the doorbell camera 106 in the lens assembly 704.
